Dalam ketentuan baru, perhitungan tarif kereta api listrik akan berdasarkan jarak tempuh. Sebelumnya, perhitungan tarif KRL berdasarkan jumlah stasiun yang dilewati.

Direktur Utama ‎KCJ, M Fadhil mengungkapkan, KCJ mengubah tarif KRL untuk menyesuaikan dengan Grafik Perjalanan Kereta Api (GAPEKA) 2015 yang telah ditetapkan pada akhir tahun kemarin.

"Dalam mekanisme baru ini, penumpang dikenakan minimum kilometer perjalanan yang akan dikenakan pada perhitungan untuk 1-25 kilometer (km) pertama sebesar Rp 2.000 dan Rp 1.000 untuk tiap 1-10 km berikutnya, dan berlaku kelipatan," kata Fadhil di kantornya, Jakarta, Rabu (25/3/2015).

Dia menjelaskan‎, dengan adanya sistem tarif baru ini maka ada beberapa relasi perjalanan yang mengalami penurunan dan kenaikan tarif.

Seperti untuk relasi Bekasi-Jakarta Kota dari sebelumnya tarif KRL sebesar Rp 3.500 kini menjadi Rp 3.000 per perjalanan. Sedangkan untuk relasi Duri-Tangerang dari sebelumnya Rp 2.500 menjadi Rp 2.000 per perjalanan.

"Dengan penerapan tarif ini, kami menilai ini lebih fair, karena kalau yang dulu, setiap ada pembangunan stasiun baru, lalu tarif stasiun setelahnya jadi naik," tegas Fadhil.



Berikut daftar tarif baru dari relasi perjalanan KRL‎: Leaving Cert Maths Log Tables

  1. Bogor-Jakarta Kota, tarif tetap Rp 5.000
  2. Tanah Abang-Sudimara, tarif tetap Rp 2.000
  3. Bogor-Tanah Abang, semula Rp 4.500 menjadi Rp 5.000
  4. Cilebut-Tanah Abang, semula Rp 4.500 menjadi Rp 5.000
  5. Duri-Tangerang, semula Rp 2.500 menjadi Rp 2.000
  6. Bekasi-Jakarta Kota, semula tarif Rp 3.500 menjadi Rp 3.000.
