Sekitar 3 juta jamaah haji sedunia melakukan Wukuf di Padang Arafah, Arab Saudi. Ibadah yang menjadi rukun haji itu dilakukan pada 9 Zulhijah atau yang saat ini jatuh pada Senin ini. Wukuf dilaksanakan mulai Senin siang Waktu Arab Saudi, (14/10/2013), hingga terbenamnya matahari.

Sebelum melaksanakan Wukuf, jamaah haji melakukan Tarwiyah dengan mabit atau bermalam di Mina. Mabit di Mina sebelum bergerak ke Arafah untuk Wukuf merupakan ajaran Nabi Muhammad SAW.

Berbagai kegiatan dilakukan oleh jamaah haji Indonesia saat bermalam di Mina pada Minggu malam kemarin. Mereka berzikir, berdoa, mengaji, dan mendengarkan ceramah. Di Mina itu, jamaah haji tinggal di tenda-tenda yang disediakan.

Setelah bermalam di Mina, Jamaah haji bergerak ke Arafah untuk Wukuf dan keesokan harinya bergerak ke Muzdalifah. Mereka akan mabit atau bermalam untuk persiapan menjalani prosesi lontar jumrah atau jamarat.
