“Secara fisik pendahulu kita telah mencita-citakan pembangunan infrastruktur yang memudahkan kehidupan rakyat, secara jiwa kita mengisi dengan pendidikan, spritual keagamaan agar rakyat maju pola pikir dan derajat hidupnya,” imbuhnya.

Politisi F-Gerindra itu mengingatkan, janji ini jangan sampai memudar dengan campur tangan pihak asing dalam kehidupan Bangsa Indonesia.

“Pembangunan fisik memang kita lakukan, tapi manfaat terbesarnya justru di rasakan pihak asing. Kita bangun pelabuhan dan jalan. Tapi ironinya fasilitas ini justru di gunakan asing dalam mengeksploitasi sumber daya alam kita secara besar – besaran,” kritis Sutan.

Padahal, tambah Sutan, dibangunnya jalan tol seharusnya untuk membantu angkutan barang dan orang, tapi volume perdagangan rakyat makin terpinggirkan oleh konglemarasi usaha asing. Sehingga yang dirasakan masyarakat saat ini, pembangunan makin lari dari janji kemerdekaan.

“Perencanaan pembangunan kita di setir asing dan pemilik modal. Pembangunan untuk rakyat hanya slogan, tapi malah untuk memfasilitasi kepentingan kapitalisme asing.
