Jessie J mengatakan bahwa di dalam industri musik ada satu hal yang selalu ia takutkan terjadi pada dirinya. Sebagai seorang musisi yang mempunyai banyak bakat dan talenta, Jessie merasa tak bisa lepas dari para fans yang sangat mengidolakannya. Namun ia paling takut jika sampai membuat mereka ngamuk di media sosial.

"Aku sangat ketakutan membaca Tweet yang berisi umpatan dari para fans karena aku bisa semakin kesakitan setiap harinya, mungkin mereka tidak akan pernah tahu hal itu," katanya seperti diberitakan Femalefirst, Selasa (22/10/2013).

Menurut wanita 25 tahun ini, membaca tulisan yang menyiratkan kemarahan para fans yang misalnya saja telah dikecewakan lantaran konser yang ditunda atau mungkin gagal adalah hal yang sangat mengerikan. Ketika membacanya, Jessie merasa betapa teganya mereka mengatakan hal tersebut.

"Dengan bantuan sosial media fans bisa membuat kata-kata manis sekaligus menusuk hati. Mereka akan menulisnya dengan huruf kapital. Kadang-kadang ada kata-kata yang menuntut kematian Anda. Itu sangat seram," ujar Jessie ngeri.

Maka dari itu jika dirasa ia melakukan masalah atau hal yang membuat para fans ngamuk, pelantun Price Tag ini tidak akan membuka Twitter atau jejaring yang lain selama beberapa hari dulu. Untungnya selama ini, hal tersebut belum pernah terjadi padanya.

Selain itu, ia juga tak suka jika fansnya mengerumuninya di jalanan ketika ia tidak melakukan tur atau show. Pasalnya, ia menganggap setiap orang termasuk artis membutuhkan ruang privat untuk kehidupan pribadinya. Mereka tidak tahu jika sang idola terkadang sedang di tengah urusan yang mendadak atau acara mendesak lainnya. (fei)
