Product line graph template powerpoint highfile CloneAGC, Nusa Dua - Asus baru saja meluncurkan smartphone dan Braile Business Cards terbaru mulai dari segmen mainstream hingga premium.

Masuknya Asus ke bisnis premium tersebut merupakan salah satu strategi Asus untuk 'naik level' dengan memanfaatkan peluang pasar lebih baik.

Hal itu diungkapkan oleh Country Product Group Leader Asus Indonesia, Juliana Chen. Meski dibanderol dengan harga tinggi, Juliana optimistis jajaran produk Asus dapat memikat hati konsumen.

"Produk mahal itu lebih ke branding. Kalau jadi mahal itu demi memperkuat branding juga. Tapi bukan berarti kami melupakan produk mainstream yang tetap paling besar (kontribusinya)," jelas Juliana saat ditemui di acara Zenvolution di Bali Nusa Dua Convention, Kamis (8/9/2016).

Asus meluncurkan lima varian ZenFone 3 dengan rentang harga mulai dari Rp 2 jutaan hingga Rp 11 jutaan. Selain itu, perusahaan juga merilis seri ZenFone Go dalam tiga varian yang dibanderol mulai dari Rp 1,4 juta-Rp 1,5 jutaan.Kemudian dari segmen notebook, Asus merilis Nature Of A Blog Post dengan harga Rp 19,3 juta-Rp 24,3 juta. Tak hanya itu, Transformer 3 juga hadir seharga Rp 15,3 juta.

Kehadiran produk baru dalam segmen mainstream dengan rentang harga Rp 1 juta sampai Rp 3 juta itu, kata Juliana, membuktikan bahwa Asus tidak melupakan produk yang banyak diminati konsumen Indonesia. 

Karena perusahaan ingin memasuki pasar premium, penambahan lini produk harus dilakukan tanpa mengurangi kehadiran produk mainstream.

"Sekarang kami ingin menambah segmen baru, jadi tentu harus menambah tipe produk karena kita juga lihat para konsumen memiliki pilihan beragam," kata Juliana.

Ke depan, Asus pun akan terus membanjiri pasar dengan berbagai produk terbaru untuk semua segmen harga. Meski pasar premium di Indonesia tidak besar, bukan berarti Asus tidak melirik. Terutama untuk smartphone yang saat ini tengah naik daun.

"Pasar (smartphone) di Rp 1 juta sampai 15 juta ada di Indonesia, dan selama ini kami baru main di bawah Rp 4 jutaan. Pasar di atas Rp 5 juta memang tidak besar, tapi kan itu tetap angka. Jadi kalau yang lain bisa, kenapa kami juga tidak ke sana?" jelas Juliana.
